Private Sessions Verses The Low Cost Clinic:

Private sessions take place in our beautiful private rooms at The Common Well, for one on one care and attention.  The practitioners listed below offer private session by appointment only, at rates set by the practitioners, independently. Some of the practitioners offer limited clinic hours which are posted at the end of their bio's.  Please contact the practitioner directly for prices and to make an appointment. 

The Low Cost Clinic sessions are in a communal room with multiple tables at a reduced rate.  Please click here for more information about our clinic.

Christina is a holistic health advocate, the founding director of Project Embody, a non-profit event production organization dedicated to networking public health, education and the arts related to empowering body image and self esteem. She attended Cal Poly University as a Nutrition Science major with an interest in encouraging people of all sizes to be free in their bodies and find self-worth in who they are.  Christina gave up her floral design business five years ago to further her calling in holistic health as a nutrition coach, bodywork practitioner, movement group facilitator and community leader.

As a graduate of Moving On Center School of Participatory Arts and Somatic Research, Christina's passion lies in experiential education which can support a more embodied, transformative healing process.  She brings a unique balance of business know-how and spiritual connection to the design and creation ofThe Common Well as a deeply intentional business and community service.

David Kukkola, Shiatsu Master, Medical Herbalist, Traditional Healer

David Kukkola, a Shiatsu Master and Medical Herbalist, brings 25 years experience as a practitioner of traditional healing to his private practice. David specializes in severe and chronic emotional and physical "diseases," with a focus on the intimate relationship of the mind, heart, body and spirit in healing.

David has studied and worked with healers from traditions around the world, including Native American, Asian, African and European cultures. The foundation of his healing practice was established at the Namikoshi Shiatsu College in the early 1980's where, while living in a Buddhist temple, he studied under the tutelage of Shiatsu Master, Tokujiro Namikoshi, and graduated with a Shiatsu Practitioners Degree.

During his studies in Japan, David learned the ancient Art of Kanpo, which means "The Old Way." This ancient healing tradition integrates the practices of natural healing; meditation and prayer, diet, exercise, herbs and body therapy.

Low Cost Clinic Hours:  Mondays 4-6pm, except for 1st Monday.

Tamara Wolfson, Osteopathic Acupuncture

tamara150.jpgMy private acupuncture practice is founded upon a firm commitment and intention to create the opportunity for people to have a greater array of options to utilize in understanding themselves physically, emotionally, and spiritually. My acupuncture specialty includes musculo-skeletal conditions, myofascial constriction chronic pain and the psycho-emotional aspects of health. I have thorough training in the use of acupuncture trigger point therapy and Oriental medical manipulation in addition to the use of Chinese herbology. I place a strong emphasis on diet and include nutritional counseling as an integral part of my practice.

Specialties: severe traumatic injury to cancer, women's issues, HIV, sports injury, chronic pain, arthritis, diabetes and fatigue.

I am a faculty member at John F. Kennedy University where I teach introduction to Chinese medicine and healing food classes in their graduate program for Holistic Health.

Deepika offers sessions and classes in a variety of body-centered healing techniques, including Pulsation breathwork, heart readings, subtle body healing and active meditation. She creates an environment of loving support, giving space for each person to discover his or her unique truth.

Trained extensively in India and Europe, she is especially interested in developing ways to integrate spiritual wisdom and emotional integrity into daily life. Deeply rooted in a practice of active meditation, she is dedicated to helping people discover their true nature and live with authenticity, passion and awareness.
